MBABANE- It will be a night of laughter in the Capital of Eswatini.
The 23:28 lounge at Checkers Business Park will be hosting Zimbabwean-born, South Africa-based comedian Nqobizitha ‘Q Dube’ Dube for his one man show ‘I wish I was joking’.
When sought for comment, comedian Mduduzi ‘Mdura’ Dlamini, who hosts the comedy shows at the above mentioned venue, said he was happy to host the Zimbabwean comedian in the country.
“I have been hosting the comedy shows at the 23:28 since the first week of January this year with Sbongiseni ‘Cybos’ Lukhele around the theme Thursday Throw back and Comedy Night where we have comedy and play throw back tunes,” said Dlamini.
Dlamini further mentioned that under the Thursday Throwback and Comedy Night, they would be hosting Q Dube, who is currently on his African Tour for his One Man Show ‘I wish I was joking’,” said Dlamini.
Dlamini revealed that he met Dube in May this year, where he was performing at the MTN Bushfire Festival and Dube mentioned he would like to bring his One Man Show to Eswatini.
“We are happy to host Dube. This show will be different because we usually have different comedians but this time it will be a full One Man Comedy Show and music after the comedy,” said Dlamini.
