Thwala was speaking on Eswatini Broadcasting and Information Service (EBIS 1) in a popular show known as ‘Letishisako’. He said this while explaining what the Municipal Council of Manzini had prepared to ensure the city ran smoothly in this season.

He was detailing the information to the nation and EBIS broadcaster Sinethemba Dlamini who was interviewing him.

Thwala said the municipal would be on the watch out for complaints and noise and any other disturbances.

“We advise that businesses and households keep noise to a minimum as it can be a nuisance to other entities. For example, a shop where there is noise of music can disturb a clinic next to it.

“Yes, it is the festive season and spirits are high but people should be considerate,” said Thwala.

He further mentioned their toll line will be available around the clock, awaiting any complaints. The Municipal of Manzini toll line is 808 2004.

“We will send to the courts and fine any people or groups who are in defiance of any laws and regulations,” said Thwala.

Worth noting is that the toll line will also be open for people reporting on municipal service faults, road maintenance, noise, stray animals, burning of waste and any other service delivery issues.
