MBABANE – The Mbabane Market will be a hive of activity tomorrow.
Just like the other vendors in the above mentioned market place in the Capital City of Eswatini, traditional medicine and potions vendors have confirmed that they would also have great Black Friday deals tomorrow.
According to Wikipedia, Black Friday is a colloquial term for the Friday after Thanksgiving in the United Sates and it is the day that traditionally marks the start of the Christmas shopping season.
The culture of Black Friday has spread throughout the world, to Eswatini and local businesses, including vendors, have incorporated themselves in the culture.
Speaking to Sandile Dlamini, a traditional medicine and potions vendor, he said they were also offering discounts, mainly on their imphepho, libovu and sea water.
“We will charge E20 on imphepho instead of the usual E30. Sea water will cost E40 instead of E50. Libovu will cost E10 instead of E15,” Dlamini detailed the prices.
When asked what motivated them to implement the discounts for Black Friday, he said it was high time traditional initiatives moved with the times.
“Also, we want our customers to get help as affordable prices,” he said.
