Dlamini said: “The Mic’d Emotions: Lalela & Listen is a flagship of the American Embassy in Eswatini and aims at developing the creative sector by reaching out to marginalised communities. We foster emerging artists through workshops and talent showcases, with the focus on amplifying young voices and inspiring change through the arts.”

In this endeavour, we will first stop at Nsongweni High School for a capacity-building programme and talent showcase. The following day will see us replicating the same forum at Mathendele Community Hall, now catering to out-of-school artists and lovers of the arts alike.”
