MBABANE– Sold out!

If you were hoping to rub shoulders and mingle with legendary South African TV actress Connie Ferguson at the fourth edition of the Pastors Wives Dinner Discussions and Biblical Worldview Lunch, you are unfortunate because the tickets have sold out!

The tickets were sold out last Friday, according to Umkhokheli Mpumi Motsa, who is one of the main organisers of the event. She shared with this publication that last year, they sold 146 tickets, which is why they opted to book 200 seats for this year’s event.

“We had to add 60 more seats when we saw the demand and how quickly the tickets were selling out. Unfortunately, right now, there’s not much we can do to accommodate those who still want to come and attend the event, as we are currently at 260 people,” Motsa said.

She went on to say they are grateful that tickets were sold out 23 days before the actual event given the number of events that will be also on the same day. Umkhokheli shared that they have added Gciniwe Fakudze to be the moderator of the dinner.

The pastor’s wives dinner will be held on April 27, 2024, at the Happy Valley Hotel. The event will kick off at 10am until 12:30pm, and then there will be a white carpet, which will kick off at 3:30pm. The gala dinner is set for 4:15pm until late. Tickets to the dinner cost E400, which include a buffet dinner and lunch. The dress code is elegant.

The fourth edition of the Pastors’ Wives Dinner Discussions is bold, unconventional, and breaks stereotypes.

According to Motsa, it is common knowledge that financial dependency is the main enabler of Gender-Based Violence (GBV). Ferguson will treat a topic on ‘Creating Family Wealth’ to capacitate the pastors’ wives and other women, young and old, to work hard and impact the world with their God-given talents.

Some of the speakers are South African Prophetess Nomusa Dhlomo, Prophet Khabo Dlamini, Nonhlanhla Dlamini, and Umkhokheli Ntsiki Malaza.

  • Some of the topics will include:
  • God’s view vs. people’s view of pastor’s wives.
  • Strengthening family foundations
  • Starting ministry: the role of Umkhokheli
  • FAQs on GBV
  • What does the wife do when the husband dies? How can a family work together to build generational wealth?
