6 SCHOOLS IN INSTACASH LAST 16

MBABANE – As the Instacash High School Soccer Tournament nears the knockout stage, the competition is getting intense, with just a few handfuls of qualifying spots up for grabs while six schools have already made it to the last 16 stage.

The competition has been fierce and exciting. The already-qualified branch champions include Ngcoseni Central High School, Mcozini High School, Manzini Central High School, St John Bosco High School, Evelyn Baring, and Lomahasha High School.

The remaining branches will battle for the remaining nine spots for the last 16 on Friday (May 31, 2024.

However, Instacash will the have a unique opportunity to select a wild card team to join the last 15 stage as there are 15 branches from around the country. This selection will be based on key criteria being discipline, support and sportsmanship, ensuring that the chosen team exemplifies the true spirit of the tournament.

This initiative underscores the tournament’s mission of training future leaders through sports, highlighting the importance of character and integrity alongside athletic excellence.

The Instacash High School Soccer Tournament promises to be to be an exhilarating showcase of young talent and testament to the values that sports can instil.

The Mbabane Branch will pit Lobamba National High school and Elangeni High School in what promises to be closely contested match at Prince of Wales Sports Ground. The winner between these schools will represent the Mbabane Branch in the last 16, which will see 16 schools (15 branches champions plus one) battling it out in the elimination knockout phase played across all four regions
