PIGG’S PEAK – Pigg’s Peak folks will have the pleasure of rubbing shoulders with South African Uzalo actor Masoja Msiza( aka Nkunzi) and be serenaded by SA Gospel artist Putuma Tiso, among other local artists.
The show, dubbed Festive Music Treat, will be held at the Pigg’s Peak Hotel on December 23–24. The show is expected to kick off at 10 am. Other artists who will perform are; Bholoja, Mxo, Young Zesh Sibu Manzini, Zweli Gule, Soul Ngwane, DJ MBO Hlengiwe Sindane, and Nothando Dlamini.
When reached for comment, Afro-pop singer Bholoja Ngubane, who is one of the main organisers of the show, shared with this publication that the Bholoja Arts Technology and Educational Foundation (BATEF), in partnership with Ekhaya Insurance, teamed up with Pigg’s Peak Hotel to host the festive music treat. The foundation is owned by Ngubane.
He said, “We look forward to hosting more of these shows on a yearly basis to create more opportunities for smaller businesses in the Hhohho region. The aim is to empower the community in every way we can by working together. We want to uplift the arts industry in the region by creating more platforms for workshops that will grow their skills. We believe that by working together, we, the nation, will indeed succeed,” shared Bholoja.
Tickets to the show will be available for E300 for both days and E200 per day at the door.
