MANZINI– Get professional photo with your family at decent prices.
This is the first Christmas after COVID-19 restrictions were lifted earlier this year where photography booths have returned to malls.
Drimz Multimedia has already set-up at the Bhunu Mall with a live studio photography booth.
The photobooth is decorated with a Christmas theme which depicts an ‘out of this world’ for the final photo.
When reached for comment, Drimz Multimedia Studio Owner, Banele Shabalala, said he was excited to be taking his studio to the people.
“We have already set up a live studio photography stall booth at the Bhunu Mall and we are excited to be taking photos of emaSwati. This is really a good time for business as it is aligned with Christmas.
“We only charge E20 per photograph. We take the photos, edit and give them out same time. This is also a marketing strategy as this will get people acquainted with my studio should they want to get professional photographs in the future, so this is really good for getting business,” said Shabalala.
Shabalala further revealed that he opened his studio during COVID-19.
“This has not been a walk in the park because we have not been able to market the business because of Covid-19 restrictions. I am now taking my studio to malls so that people get professional photographs at really low prices and also get them acquainted with the studio,” said Shabalala.
Shabalala further mentioned he has been happy about the response the photo booth has been receiving.
“I am really happy about the response we have been receiving so far and I believe it is aligned with Christmas because people are happy for being with their families and going about their Christmas shopping and also our low prices on the photos.
“We will also be here at the Bhunu Mall on December 20 and 21 from 9am to 5pm,” said Shabalala.
