AFROTRACTION AND SANDS TO RELEASE PROJECT IN THE MONTH OF LOVE

MBABANE– Known as love music greats in Mpumalanga and Eswatini respectively, Afrotraction and Sands are taking over the Afro-soul scene with a blazing collaboration.

Mzwandile Moya and Eswatini golden boy Sandziso’Sands’ Matsebula were recently in the Redamancy Studios in Mbombela cooking up a storm of a collaborative project, titled ‘Assurance’.

Sands announced the project on his social media platforms, with new media kit pictures of him and Afrotraction.

The picture captioned ‘Save the date, February 25, 2023, Eswatini Live performances of Sands and Afrotraction, the love tour’ sent social media to an overdrive.

Local supporters took to the comment section to enquire about tickets to the show and generally shared their excitement.

When speaking about the show, both artists expressed that they were all about celebrating the month of love.

 “As many may know, we specialise in celebrating love. This is yet another love song. It is only relevant to do so because the month of love, February, is ahead of us.

“It is a great privilege for us to be able to meet in Mbombela to make our magic,” Afrotraction said.

Sands said 2023 was a year of restoration for his music career.

“This project is my first one this year, and I am glad to say more are coming. This is the time to make music, collaborate with more musicians, and uplift upcoming artists,” he said.

Worth noting is that it is not going to be the first time in the country for Afrotraction. He has become a norm in the country during the month of love.

In 2019, before COVID-19 took over, he serenaded over 500 fans at Tums George Hotel in Manzini, this is where his relationship with Sands was built and formed.

Afrotraction is mainly known for his love songs so the invitation to perform in the country in February, known to be the month of love because of Valentine’s Day, which falls on February 14.
