MBABANE – Hip hop artist and producer at Hope Music Records Alec The Father’s Hope has been nominated for the prestigious Swazi Fest Writer’s Awards 2023 in the category of Hip Hop Song Writer of The Year.
The gifted rapper was born in Mbabane and later migrated to Siteki where he established Hope Music Records. He released an Album titled ‘Hustle and Love’ on the 29th of September and it features local and international artists. It also got multiple airplay on EBIS 2.
This publication has established that the superstar released an official video for ‘S’yovula Bevalile’ which is track 15 on the album.
He has urged music lovers to stream it on YouTube and Audiomack. Interviewed by EPN, the rapper expressed his excitement and gratitude for the nomination.
“I am ready to bring the award home and the nomination has motivated me to continue working hard in striving for excellence,” he said before appealing to the public to vote for him to win the award.
Swazi Fest Writer’s Awards is an annual event which started in 2021 and it celebrates published authors and writers in the kingdom of Eswatini. The mission is to appreciate, acknowledge and honour authors in both official languages as a motivation to keep doing an impressive job and positively impact the lives of emaSwati through words. This year’s theme is ‘Celebrating Excellence in Writing’.
