…. Organisers partner with Tums George Hotel ahead of the event

MBABANE – If the House Fest social media pages are anything to go by, everything is set for the main day.
The fourth edition of the House Musiq Festival is taking place this coming Saturday at Manzini Club, everyone is already geared up for the two-day event.
With exactly two days to go, organisers of the event have partnered with Tums George Hotel to ease off transport and accommodation plans for some of the patrons.
Swazi Boy Communications Officer Nokwanda Sibandze said this will allow their patrons to be closer to the event and avoid cases of drink and driving.
“We are all for safety, so we encourage the public to check out the reasonably priced specials at Tums our new partner. Booking at the Tums comes with tickets accessing the event,” she said.
Having made a major comeback; the fourth edition of the highly acclaimed House Music Fest is gaining steady momentum and It is about to be a party for emaSwati next week.
Boasting a feisty line-up already, the festival is currently the most talked about and anticipated event in the country, judging by the social media platforms’ shares and posts over 80 percent of locals have shown interest in the two-day event.
The event has also been popular with meme makers as there have been circulating memes and jokes about the event.
One read: “I would rather use, my groceries money for House Fest I’m going there.”
South African DJ Zinhle, who is also a businesswoman, was announced as part of the line-up for this year’s House Music Fest that will be held at Manzini Club on March 25.
Worth noting is that this event is made possible by Swazi Boy Entertainment and Swazi Origin Fresh (SOFRESH). It is one of the biggest local events in the history of House music in the country.
The previous event was held at Manzini Club last year on March 23. The headline act was South African music duo Black Motion which played alongside Chymamusique, DJ Soul B and !Sooks to name a few.
This year’s line-up includes Oskido and they have recently added Oscar Mbo, born Oscar Mbongeni Ndlovu- a South African record producer, podcaster and DJ.
He creates house music containing elements of deep house, deep tech, Nu Jazz, broken beat and Lounge music.
He is best known for his founding and starring roles in the entertainment podcast; The Ashamed Hour show. He has been in the country a number of times and has played at places like Solanis, and Déjà Vu, among others.
