MBABANE – An acoustic worship experience!

The Voices in Worship will host an acoustic worship experience on Saturday at the Mbabane Theatre Club. The show will kick off at 6 p.m.

The show is presented by the Latter House of Worship and is powered by hybrid music and sound. This was confirmed by Bonkhe Masuku, who is one of the organisers of the event.

He said, “This year we are launching a brand new concept called Voices in Worship, and our aim is to eventually do it as an acoustic worship experience, but for now we’ll only do a few acoustic songs. So the concept is meant to showcase the beauty and authenticity of harmonised voices without a lot of accompaniment.

According to Masuku, they are a Gospel choir called Latter House of Worship based in Mbabane, founded on March 21, 2010. They have hosted a lot of shows locally since inception, and in 2018, they did a concept called Hymn Revival Experience, where they focused on doing strictly hymns and tried to present them in a way that would also appeal to the youth.

He said, “We have hosted the worship experience  for five consecutive years, and we have featured a number of local artists like Bhelekazi, Smiso Simelane, Mnqobi Maseko, and Bongekile Nxumalo, just to name a few.”

He also shared with this publication that last year they released a 12-track album of the Hymn Revival Experience, and it is available on our YouTube channel (Latter House of Worship).

“We take popular Gospel songs that only have a chorus or one verse and turn them into full songs that will give you a worship experience. We love being innovative and creative. We are so excited about this brand new concept, and we’d love to invite all Gospel music lovers to come and worship with us. It’s not a show, but a worship experience.” said Masuku.

Tickets to the show are E200. For more information, call 7637 3563.
