MBABANE – Eswatini actors are gaining prominence as more emaSwati appear on South African Television drama Isitha.
During yesterday’s episode, a Swati actor appeared on the show. Two Swati actors appeared recently in the telenovela by the likes of Sebenta Mhlanga and widely known for his hilarious stand-up acts comedian, Gedlembane.
A post on Facebook on the Isitha official page read, “As promised we will be seeing more of Swaziland. Look who just found Lazarus. Catch #IsithaTheEnemy Tonight at 9:30 pm”. Indeed the Swati actor appeared on the episode.
According to the City Press, the telenovela continues the Sokhulu Family saga. It is based on the popular Black Door Drama which introduced viewers to the Sokhulus and the challenges they faced to keep their family united.
Isitha follows the fate of Chuma Sokhulu who was thought to be dead in the Black Door as he faces new enemies and dangers in a Royal Homestead in Eswatini. The show promises to deliver entertaining episodes while uplifting the flag of Eswatini.
