MBABANE– If you want to host the next Mr Eswatini, here’s your chance!
Applications are now open to candidates who would like to host the next Mr Eswatini pageant. This was announced by the Chairman of the Beauty Pageants, Sandra Ismail, yesterday (May 14, 2024).
Ismail shared with this publication that those who are interested in hosting the next pageant can get more information from the Eswatini beauty pageant association by emailing the proposals to: beautypageantseswatini@gmail.com
It is worth mentioning that last year, the pageant was hosted by Mr Eswatini Director Mbonisi Ngcamphalala. The crowning took place on December 16, 2023, at the Happy Valley Hotel.
The Mr Eswatini 2023 Top 3 was;
King: Sive Aidan Mawelela
First runner-up: Msimisi Dlamini
Second runner-up: Gary Taruvingira.
Meanwhile last month, Oukitel Eswatini partnered with the Eswatini National Council of Arts and Culture to be the new directors of the Miss Eswatini Pageant.
The new development was announced at the Manzini Art Centre in April, where it was also announced that former Miss Eswatini Tania Nunn had left the country to study abroad. Shanice Mamba, who was the first princess, was unveiled as the new reigning queen until the next crowning. Fezile Mthupha will now be the first princess.
