MBABANE- If events and social media stats are anything to go by, Onicah and Welz Wethu are the hottest Mcs one can be book.
The two ladies have managed to create a massive following and brand in the industry, this they have done through their vibrant stage presence and dedication to their craft.
Numbers do not lie as both MCS, who double up as DANCERS, have over 3000 activity on each post they MAKE. They further garner over 10 000 views in each Tik Tok video they upload on the internet.
Having shared the stage numerous time, the duo has also had a chance to share the stage with industry heavy weights like Maphorisa, Makhadzi, Kabza the Small and Kamo Mphelax to name a few.
All the mentioned artists did not shy away from acknowledging the local talent on their stage presence and work ethic.
Welz Wethu told this publication that she was strict when it came to her work and also dedicated her time to grow and learn from others in the same industry as her.
“I do not play around with my talent I know my worth and I never take gigs for publicity but I do this for the love, money and growth,” said Welz.
When Welz emerged on the scene she was a vibrant MC , who kept getting booked and popular until she ventured into other artistic ventures. These are dancing, singing and now a beautician and boutique owner.
Meanwhile, Onicah, who started dancing as a hobby then later turned it into a MCing, has been building and horning her talent since her first gig.
Born Onicah Mansoor, the 22-year old superstar has been nominated in the category for MC of the year at the Eswatini Social Media awards. She shared that December is going to be big for her.
“I have been receiving a number of gigs and it can only be my God and people who follow and believe in my craft,” she said.
In closing the two MCs confirmed having been booked for some upcoming events while some others have not been confirmed yet.
