ATHLETICS – Athletics Eswatini will host its first Track and Field competition on Sunday at Mavuso Sports Centre.
The first action of the day will start as early as 8 am with the 400m, high jump, and long jump events. Running events will be non-stop on the synthetic track with shot put and discus starting at 9.25 am.
Javelin will start at 10.30 am on the sidelines and the day will be closed with intriguing 4X100m and 4X400m relay events.
All running events will be on show with the exception of the 60m event.
AE Public Relations Officer Victor ‘Mavikane’ Dlamini confirmed the date with athletic clubs.
“Registration is already opened and will slam shut at midnight, Friday, February 10,” he said.
