MANZINI – The weekend was solely dedicated to spectacular awards night as two award shows were held at two different venues in the country.
Mavuso Trade center came alive yesterday with the Eswatini Gospel awards while Happy Valley was held down by the third edition of Social media awards. Both events were well attended and winners walked away all smiles.
When giving his remarks Eswatini National Council of Arts and Culture Chief Executive Officer Stanely Dlamini said as an office they are very happy to have seen the success of the event.
“ We are for giving credit where it is due and all the winners here tonight are deserving and we are proud of them. However everyone is a winner even the ones who did not win but were nominated,” said Dlamini.
Nothando Dlamini won Song of the year and best gospel singer of the year, Dlamini said she was thankful to everyone who voted and mostly God.
Meanwhile social media personalities went home all smiles yesterday as they walked away winners at the Social Media awards. Designer Thulani Lubhambo walked away with a 50 inch Smart TV for being the most nominee for Social Media Awards.
Ekhayeni Chillaz won the entertainment spot of the year, while outspoken Tjovitjo won Mc of the year. The first winner of the night was Bullie Mdluli who walked away with Medical personality of the year.
