SOCCER – The BC Motsa Foundation has come to the rescue for the Timphisini Regional Football League.
Without a sponsor for close to two seasons, BC Motsa Foundation has pumped E45 000 for the league inclusive of E15 000 to be battled out in the form of a knockout tournament. The last sponsor for the Timphisini Regional Football League, a league under the Hhohho Regional Football Association was through former Member of Parliament of the area Apton Ndlovu.
Ekhaya Funeral Services also sponsored knockout tournaments and the latest sponsorship will come as a big relief according to HRFA Secretary General Nkosingiphile Shongwe.
The league’s chairman Johannes Mavimbela thanked the sponsor for the kind gesture and encouraged other business people and companies to come through to help in their quest to keep the youth of the Timphisini constituency busy. “We are grateful for the sponsorship which will help to improve the standard of the competition and keep the youth away from crime. We implore the teams to be on their best behavior as we continue to build a good partnership with the BC Motsa Foundation,” said Mavimbela.
