Entertainment Featured on slider

MTN Bushfire is elevating the 2024 customer experience and inviting festivalgoers to get their festival passes/wristbands ahead of time to avoid the queues at the festival gates. Festival passes can be collected from Thursday 30 May, at selected MTN Eswatini outlets and service centres.

The 17th edition of this family friendly international festival of music and the arts will be held from Friday 31 May – Sunday 2 June, 2024.

Pre-festival wristbanding will be available at the following MTN Service Centres on Thursday, from 9am to 4:30pm:

  • Mbabane – MTN Service Centre at Corporate Place
  • Ezulwini – Shaks Cellular Ezulwini at The Gables
  • Manzini – MTN Service Centre at the Manzini Lifestyle Centre

Only Golden Lounge, Main Arena and Kids tickets can be scanned and redeemed at these centres. All other tickets, including Camping Tickets, Traders Tickets, Artists Passes, Media Passes and Y’ello Lounge Tickets, will need to be scanned in at the gates as usual. The festival will open at 4pm on Friday, 31 May, 2024.

Pre-Load Your festival funds!

MTN Bushfire is a cashless festival. For all in-festival purchases, all festivalgoers use money loaded onto the festival wristband NFC chip. You can Top Up your funds during the festival or can Pre-Load them onto your tickets via their Howler accounts. If you’re in Eswatini, you can top up with MTN Mobile Money using MoMo Marketplace on Whatsapp. MoMo is also a payment option for registered traders at the festival.

Please Note:
• No other Ticket Types will be scanned including Camping Tickets, Traders Tickets, Artists Passes, Media Passes or Y’ello Lounge Tickets.
• Please arrive with your ticket downloaded on your phone/tablet or printed off on a piece of paper to avoid delays.
• All wristbands are valid for 3 days (31 May 2024 – 02 June 2024).
• Do not remove or tamper with your wristband as this will forfeit your access to the festival.

Howler Resale facility

MTN Bushfire does not encourage third party sales as the festival cannot guarantee the validity of those tickets. To help festivalgoers secure legitimate festival tickets, our ticketing service providers, Howler, have set up a safe and secure resale platform for festivalgoers who won’t be able to make it to the festival to put their tickets up for sale.
Buy and sell your pre-owned event tickets through Resale, Howler’s secure resale platform. By facilitating transactions between sellers and buyers, Howler eliminates the risk of scams, ticket scalping and wasted party tickets.

How it works:

  1. Sellers list tickets, paying a 5% fee once the ticket is sold.
  2. Buyers purchase tickets through the event page on Howler, paying a 5% booking fee.
Resale guarantees secure payment and instant tickets. Plus, complete anonymity. We handle every aspect of the exchange, so you don’t have to. Resale protects customers against ticket scalping! Ticket prices are set by the seller but within a range offered by the event organiser.
    How to sell your ticket:
  3. Log into your Howler account and select Tickets.
  4. Click the 3 dots on the ticket you’d like to sell
  5. Click the Sell Ticket option
  6. Set the price of your ticket
  7. Enter your banking details
You can remove your ticket from Resale at any time from the tickets tab, if it hasn’t been sold. You’ll be notified by email if your ticket is sold and it’ll disappear from your account. Once your ticket has been sold, payment will be processed within 5-14 days.
    How to buy your ticket:
  8. Visit the event page and click on Buy Resale Ticket
  9. Select the ticket you’d like to purchase and enter your details to complete the process
  10. Access your ticket from the Tickets tab
Purchasing a ticket on Resale will incur a small transaction fee. You can remove your ticket from Resale at any time, if it’s still available.
