MBABANE– Socialite and YouTuber Belinda Chester is now a fully-fledged DJ after graduating top of her class this week.
Chester took to her Instagram platform to announce the good news and later showed off her certificate. Writing on her caption she said, “On the certified DJ level,”.
Friends and fans took to the comments to congratulate her and further asked if this meant her booking fees just went up.
She responded to the affirmative and said “Prices just went up, I have graduated.”
Chester was taking classes in an institution DJ and Music Production Institute based in South Africa.
When speaking further on her graduation, she mentioned that she was proud of how far she has come as she has worked hard to perfect her newly found niche.
“This has been an uplifting journey as I was interested in learning and crafting my DJ skills now I’m graduating. I will be attending the graduation ceremony as I never got to attend my first Associate degree graduation,” said the now-certified DJ.
Late last year the DJ had an amazing moment when South African DJ Lamiez Holworthy had this to say about her.
“I met this beautiful lady and I was left in awe of her talent, she is amazing and has so much more potential I cannot wait to see her on the big stage,” said Lamiez.
Chester has played across African countries, her memorable one being Angola, where she sold out the show and was the talk of the town the whole weekend there.
Worth noting is that Belinda has a lot of creative work under her belt which includes working with MTN, Total, Girl Boss Eswatini, Fingers Barbershop, Mr. Cheap, and Sincephetelo MVA Fund on various campaigns, to name a few. She is also a video vixen as she has appeared in three local music videos for Lyrikal Busta, Mzwaa, and M Triggerson.
When asked on how she stays it while maintaining her unique and sexy physique, she said, “For me, it’s mostly my genes but from time to time, I do go to the gym whenever I get the chance. I also do yoga for meditation which helps a lot as I also have to be mentally fit. Basically, taking care of your body by watching what you eat is essential in staying healthy while maintaining your physique.”
She often shares ‘hot’ snaps of her on Instagram and the beauty is followed by 84 000 people. When she is not at work, she loves traveling and this has led to her creating a YouTube channel where she shares videos while traveling around the country and beyond with her Vlogs. This has led her to win the very first Swazi Boy Social Media Award for ‘Best Vlogger’ in December 2020. Her YouTube page currently sits at 734 subscribers with only 20 videos.
