MANZINI – Bhelekazi Kunene album launch was a great success, as the Holy Spirit descended at the Zakhele Free Evangelical Assemblies (FEA) on Friday, (May 24, 2024).
She was launching her album, titled ‘The Captives Release.’ When speaking to the publication, Kunene confirmed that the event went perfectly well. “By ‘perfectly well,’ I mean that the one we have come to was among us, and that is God. People attended, and I was amased. The numbers were what God wanted that night because my prayer was ‘May those who need to be there, be there,’ so yes, I was happy with the turnout,” Kunene said.
Kunene further explained that she took the stage at 8:15pm after Tanele Mnisi and Musa Phakathi had already set a powerful worship foundation, thrilling the attendees as the Holy Spirit took over and dwelt among them.
In preparing for the event, Kunene stated that there were opposing spirits trying to thwart the entire event, but God prevailed as always. She recounted that the whole experience is unexplainable, and indeed, God never ceases to amaze and prove to be who He is.
Everything transpired according to God’s own will and power. The album launch release featured notable South African worship leaders Michael David, Chairo, and Buhle Thela, marking the highlight of the night. Sharing the stage with the other three worship leaders left Kunene tongue-tied at the marvels God performed through them. She performed with Buhle on a song titled “Kadosh,” written by her, which was a thrilling experience.
Kunene extended her gratitude to the people who came to support her work. “To the people who came to support this ministry and the people who helped by lending a hand in seeing this work succeed, I am at a loss for words! I am grateful to all of them. May the good Lord keep you for people like me. Lastly, my husband, you are my heaven on earth, and I thank you for everything.”
She further mentioned that her fans were in for a treat, as the album was now available on USBs for E100, and it will soon be uploaded on all digital platforms for easy access for everyone.
