BIG WIN FOR MABURA IN MULASPORT POOL TOURNAMENT

MBABANE – Pool player Sibusiso ‘Mabura’ Nhlabatsi was the biggest winner of the MulaSport Eswatini Cue Sports Association (ECSA) knockout tournament.

He beat Zweli Siziba Dlamini 11-10 to take home E4 000, a cosmic cuestick worth E2 500, trophy and a gold medal. The finals were played on Sunday at the Billiards and Game Arena in Mbabane.

“Mabura stun Siziba to clinch the inaugural MulaSport Pool title from10:7 down to win 11-10. He took home E4 000, a cosmic cuestick worth E2 500, trophy and a gold medal,” said the organisers of the tournament.

The tournament was sponsored to the tune of E20 000 by the betting company, MulaSport and it attracted 64 players who registered. It was played for the whole month of February with, the last day being Sunday (May 12).

The runner up, Zweli ‘Siziba’ Dlamini went home with E3 000 and a silver medal, while semi-finalists Sifiso Makhanya and Dodge Matsebula each got E1 500.

All the players who reached the last stage of the tournament got some prizes. Quarter finalists received E1 000 each, with the last 16 player getting E500 each.
