MBABANE– It is no secret that Canadian rapper Drake is a huge fan of Uncle Waffles and that the excitement of him showing her love on Instagram refuses to die down.
Grammy award-winning DJ Black Coffee recently shared on Podcast and Chill with MacG interview, explaining how Drake got to know about Uncle Waffles.
He mentioned that he was on the same flight from Toronto with Uncle Waffles.
“I was on the plane, and someone comes to me and says Uncle Waffles is on the flight and I have never met her. I video call Drake to show him I’m with Uncle Waffles on the flight.
“He did not pick up but we sent him the snapshot of the video call and he was chauffeured and that is how things started,” he said.
Even though Uncle Waffles first got Drake’s attention with a viral video of her dancing along to the hit song ‘Adiwele’.
Drake mentioned Uncle Waffles had people excited along with her and some green with envy.
From there, the craze went on as Drake dropped a new album titled ‘Honestly, Nevermind’ which Black Coffee helped partly produce. Fans said it had coded messages to Uncle Waffles.
The ‘Controlla’ rapper follows Uncle Waffles on Instagram and has been spotted on the comment section during Waffles’ Live. Now Twitter is going crazy with lists of theories.
Drake recently mentioned the ‘Tanzania’ hitmaker on his Instagram stories and had the female DJ screaming for about 10 minutes.
