MANZINI – Grab the chance to meet and greet South African Afro-Pop duo Blaq Diamond later today at the Ocean Cuisine Restaurant and Bar in Manzini.
There will also be a surprise guest that will grace the establishment. The show is a build-up to tomorrow’s Umuthi Fest. The SA duo will be performing tomorrow at the first edition of Umuthi Fest, which will be held at Mavuso Trade and Exhibition Centre, Outdoor Arena.
The entry for tonight’s show, dubbed Illegal Wednesday, is free. The dress code is smart casual, and it will kick off at 5pm until late. The supporting acts are Zulu D, Bandora , Sbu De Drum DJ, Paris, Judah, Twenty 11, and Sweet Shandis.
The SA duo partnered with Megasound Events for the festival, which will be tomorrow. Umuthi is a record label and movement founded by Blaq Diamond following their musical journey. This was confirmed by Zulu D. of Megasound Events.
The line-up for tomorrow’s debut festival includes Blaq Diamond, Sjava, Big Zulu, Aymos, Mlindo the Vocalist, Lwa Ndlunkulu, Makhosi, Diba Diba, Mawelele,Xolwa, Linda Dlamini,Carrency,Notik SD, and Magaya.
