MBABANE – The Hlane Buganu Ceremony has attracted interest from the international community.
The event was on Saturday attended, among others, by Tembe King Inkosi Mabhudu Tembe, Ghana’s Minister for Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration Shirley Ayokor Botchwey, and other political figures from Mozambique.
Their Majesties expressed gratitude to all the people from outside the country, who chose to spend their time and be happy with Emaswati, as they celebrated the existence of Emaganu. The King said this was an African way of doing things.
During the event, different women from outside the country were given an opportunity to dance according to their culture. They came from countries such as Nigeria, Cameroon, Mozambique, and South Africa.
The event was live streamed by the country’s television stations such as Eswatini TV and Channel YemaSwati.
