MBABANE – Shortly after being endorsed by South Africa’s Minister of Tourism, Patricia De Lille, Eswatini Air is to collaborate with Business Eswatini (BE).
This was announced by BE Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Nathi Dlamini who said they felt that the newly launched national airline will go a long way in meeting the travel demands of the private sector and will also enhance the ease of doing business in the country.
“It is for this reason that we have decided to collaborate with the national airline in their bid to encourage the travelling public, particularly in the private sector, to make this national airline their first port of call when it comes to their travelling requirements.
“BE is adamant that national airlines only thrive when fully supported by their own people; which is exactly the reason that web will be convening a commercial aviation meeting which has been dubbed Let’s Fly Eswatini Air. This indaba will take place at the Business Eswatini offices at Emafini,” he said.
In addition to this he said the home of business has been inspired by the achievements of the Airline in recent weeks as they have successfully carried out their maiden flights to various destinations in the region.
Dlamini said this hardly comes as a surprise to BE as RENAC seems to have been working tirelessly in doing things right.
Worth noting is that the CEO of Business Eswatini, Mr E. Nathi Dlamini was one of the executives who test-flighted Eswatini Air’s maiden flight to Harare, Zimbabwe and upon return, he raved about both the comfort of the ride and the in-flight customer care.
As part of his remarks in the ceremony that was held at the Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport, he mentioned to reporters that as a Liswati he was proud to once again to be flying in an aeroplane that has the national flag emblazoned on its fuselage.
“It is against this backdrop that Business Eswatini is convening this private sector-led meeting which is arguably along the lines of a public-private partnership, whereby the private sector is reaching out to a public entity with a view of ensuring a viable collaboration between the two,” he said.
