… As Minister Jabulani attends to three projects

Despite the past weekend being popular for being leisurely, the Ministry of Agriculture and Minister of Agriculture Jabulani ‘Buy Cash’ Mabuza saw a busy weekend as they were attending to different project in the different parts of the country.
The minister and his team had to travel from the Shiselweni Region to the Manzini Region, engaging with project in the field.
Mabuza first opened the Shiselweni Regional Farmers Expo and Agribusiness Seminar that was themed ‘Agribusiness: A key to Economic Recovery’. This was last Thursday.
During the expo, there were exhibitors/farmers, enterprises and stakeholders that were showcasing their products and sharing agricultural information amongst themselves. Some of these exhibitors were individuals while others were big agricultural companies.
He then officially opened the Mponono and Bhadzeni Dip tanks. The two projects were funded by Eswatini Government through the Regional Development Fund (RDF) and Micro Project.
The following day, Mabuza graced the ‘Smallholder Sugarcane Growers’ Competition’. The concept is aimed at recognising and awarding best performing smallholder sugarcane growers to encourage high productivity, sound governance ad efficiency among growers for sustainability of the sugar industry.
