MBABANE– South African rappers and businessmen Cassper Nyovest and Nasty C will be touring some countries around the African continent on their African Throne Tour.
The dates and countries for the tour have been revealed. According to a post on Facebook, the Duo will be rocking Solanis on the 01st of September 2023.
The early bird ticket will be E100 and E200 after the early bird. E250 will be paid at the gate.
Nsikayesizwe David Junior Ngcobo famously known as Nasty C is signed under the Def Jam record label an American multinational label owned by Universal Music Group. The rapper also owns his own record label Tall Racks Records which was established back in 2018.
He has won multiple awards in the music industry including an award for best hip-hop album in the South African Music Awards (SAMA) 2021.
Cassper Nyovest owns the Family Tree record label in South Africa and he has also won multiple awards through his journey in the industry. He bagged one in 2020 for the song of the year in the South African Hip Hop Awards.
Cassper Nyovest recently collaborated with Sprite. According to the South African HipHopMag, Mufasa explained that his collaboration with Sprite is special to him because the parties share the same values and reputation.
“It’s a brand that I grew up with in my house as a kid. It’s hip hop, I’m hip hop you know, I’m dropping a hip hop album and the energy is there, they love hip hop, they love the same thing that I love”, Cassper said.
“The opportunity was also to express myself without any sort of direction which I loved, usually they have it all planned out for you and they tell you what to do,” Cassper added he released a song titled Soul as part of his collaboration with the beverage brand. In it, he expresses his heartfelt concern about the reality of individuals who are living for materialistic things.
