MBABANE– In an effort to bolster trust and foster transparency, Governor of the Central Bank of Eswatini (CBE) Dr Phil Mnisi has affirmed the bank’s commitment to openly communicate the ongoing processes related to the construction and recruitment initiative.
The governor said this at Eswatini TV show known as market view. Mnisi stated that the bank had provided job opportunities through its construction projects, engaging a total of 40 individuals from the Ezulwini Chiefdom.
Dr Mnisi emphasised the bank’s commitment to transparency in recruitment, working closely with Ezulwini Umphakatsi and Bucopho.
Additionally, Mnisi assured Emaswati of the bank’s ongoing efforts to maintain transparency in both construction and recruitment processes, ensuring accountability and integrity throughout these initiatives.
He emphasised the bank’s commitment to hiring a diverse range of skilled individuals to meet the various demands of its projects. Although some specialised roles may be filled by individuals from other areas, the majority of the workers are local residents, according to the governor. Dr Mnisi expressed satisfaction with the potential skills that would be transferred to these workers, empowering them to start new businesses in the future and create lasting positive impacts on the community.
The governor highlighted the importance of viewing the development within the broader context of growth within the Ezulwini area. He emphasised the need for integration and synergy between this project and other ongoing initiatives in the area. By fostering a seamless ecosystem of development, these combined efforts will ultimately contribute to the overall economic prosperity of Eswatini, according to Dr Mnisi.
