MBABANE – Through its Corporate Social Investment (CSI) programme, the Central Bank of Eswatini donated 20 refurbished laptops to Londunduma High School.
This good act of will took place over the weakened, where the aim is to support students’ information technology needs.
The handover was filled with a warm welcome and appreciation speeches from the Regional Education Office, School Principal, Futhi Dlamini-Ngcobo, esteemed teachers, and the head girl. Students expressed their gratitude in traditional dance and choral music.
Through its CSI program, the Central Bank of Eswatini’s vision is to contribute to the advancement of education, health, and community development, in a way that meaningfully impacts local communities.
CBE wants to ensure that their corporate social responsibility complements corporate and national objectives by leveraging business strength to pursue distinctive, high-profile flagship programmes.
Meanwhile the Head Teacher, Futhi Dlamini – Ngcobo said they were truly grateful for the gift and were looking forward to the good of the investment made by CBE.
“This is going to be very helpful in ensuring that our pupils equip themselves with technology needs. We are beyond grateful,” said the Head teacher.
