CHARLSE WESLEY DISPLAY CHAMPION’S PERFOMANCE IN EDANSA

MBABANE – Charlse Wesley Academy, a shining beacon of talent and passion, put up a stunning performance that wowed the audience and judges in the National Dance Competition that took place at St. Theresa High School Hall on Saturday (May 25, 2024).

The academy walked away with a trophy after they scooped the overall winner’s award which is determined by the number of medals they have received. Khanyisile Primary school won a trophy for the club with the most participants.
When interviewed, the Eswatini Dance Sports Association (EDANSA) Public Relations Officer (PRO) Ncobile Fakudze passed his appreciation towards their main sponsor (Sharp Eswatini) for supporting the sport which attracted a huge crowd.

“We are very impressed with the attendance. We are very happy to see the number of dance clubs grow and to see clubs like Mhlume Dance Club, who have not been competing for quite some time. So, we’d like to thank Sharp Eswatini for sponsoring the competition. We are looking forward to more sponsors come through for the sport and make the competition bigger and better,” she said.

EDANSA n in partnership with Sharp Eswatini hosted the National Dance Competition that was graced by eleven dance clubs from around the country which included winners Charlse Wesley, St Marks High School, Khanyisile Primary school, Mhlume Dance Club, Wanna dance Studio and more. The competition’s audience included parents and relatives of the participants.
