MBABANE– Eswatini-born musician and rising star CheiStar is already taking the music industry by storm.
The artist will make history for herself by being the first musician in Eswatini to premier her music videos at Movie Zone.
CheiStar, real name Cheila Merissa Vovos, will host a VIP series of her six videos which is her full Extended Play (EP) on the big screen this Friday 28 April 2023 at Movie Zone in Gables.
The artist shared her excitement saying she was excited to be hosting her VIP screening.
“I am very excited to be hosting Friday’s VIP screening of my EP. This screening is a milestone for CheiStar as a brand. Since the inception of my music career in 2018. I have grown my brand strategically in Eswatini, South Africa and Mozambique. The screening will showcase who I am as an artist, the pride I have in my diverse heritage (Eswatini and Mozambique), and the beauty of Eswatini,” said the artist.
The artist further mentioned she wanted to be a game changer.
“I have decided to do a screening at Movie Zone because it is a first for an artist to be doing that and I also aim to push boundaries and grow beyond what is expected,” said the musician.
CheiStar also said her guests should expect the VIP experience, a red-carpet fashion event, the vibrant social scene as well as networking opportunities with other people who are in the entertainment industry.
