MBABANE – Talented and insightful conductor of Mbabane Methodist Church Choir Menzi Gule is set for a choral even at the Bokamoso Arts Institute in Pretoria, South Africa on Saturday (June 8, 2024).

The choral celebration is set to kick-off at 2pm and will take place at the prestigious ZK Matthew Great Hall in Pretoria, located within the Winnie Madikizela-Mandela Building of the University of South Africa (UNISA) in Muckleneuck.

Gule will be the only LiSwati conductor participating in the event, where he will carry the flag of Eswatini with pride and distinction, showcasing the country’s rich musical heritage.

His multi-faceted talents extend beyond conducting, as he also possesses a professional qualification in pharmacy.
Hailing from a family steeped in the choral tradition, he has been exposed to some of the finest choral conductors and practitioners throughout his journey.

Gule’s impressive career as a conductor has included collaborations with several renowned conductors from South Africa, namely Sidwell Mhlongo of the Gauteng Choristers and Vusi Khanyile of the South African Singers.

He promised to deliver an unforgettable performance and bring his best to the event. He also expressed his gratitude for the opportunity, emphasizing that he would seize it with enthusiasm and dedication.

“I am thrilled to be representing Eswatini in this prestigious event. The Eswatini choral community has placed their trust in me, and I will do everything within my power to make them proud,” Gule said.
