MBABANE – Peace Corps Volunteer (PCV) Ebony organized a College Readiness Workshop at Mabondvweni High School, bringing together various college institutions. The workshop aimed to provide guidance and resources to graduating students, ensuring their readiness for higher learning and training opportunities.
According to the Peace Corps Eswatini post the participating institutions shared information on their course offerings, admission requirements, and scholarship opportunities. In addition to these insights, students actively participated in mock interviews and CV writing exercises. These practical activities offered valuable experience and insights into the job search process, helping students develop essential skills.
The workshop served as a valuable resource, helping students overcome limitations and broaden their horizons for the future. By addressing specific needs and fostering interactive sessions, the event empowered students to envision a future with diverse possibilities.
PCV Ebony’s initiative exemplifies the positive impact of community-driven efforts on the lives of young individuals. The College Readiness Workshop at Mabondvweni High School not only facilitated the transition from high school to higher education but also laid the foundation for a future generation of informed, confident, and ambitious leaders.
