MBABANE – Minister of Health Lizzie Nkosi has today cut the sod at a construction site for a new E31 Million specialized HIV clinic in Manzini.
This is a project of the AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF) and will become a Centre of Excellence for HIV and TB prevention and care in Eswatini.
“I would like to recognize the AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF) who continue to support the Kingdom in expanding and improving the provision of HIV and AIDS prevention and medical care services; ultimately improving the livelihoods of the people of Eswatini,” the minister said.
She continued: “I would like to emphasize and re-emphasize government’s commitment to ensuring that quality health & medical care services are provided for all. The Ministry of Health’s mandate is to ensure that strategic partnerships such as this oneare encouraged and promoted.”
Meanwhile, Dr Nkululeko Dube, AHF Eswatini Country Programme Manager said: “This is a very proud moment for us & being part of such a historic milestone in the Kingdom is more than fulfilling. A lot of planning, dedication and hard work has been put to ensure that this vision becomes a reality.”
