CSO CALLS FOR ENUMERATORS

…As the 2022/23 Census of Agriculture is set to take place

MBABANE- Providing accurate statistical data for Eswatini.

The Central Statistical Office (CSO) under the Ministry of Economic Planning and Development has notified the public that candidates who would like to take part, as enumerators, in the 2022/23 Census of Agriculture on all rural areas and homesteads in the country are welcome.

The candidates will be required to have their form five or equivalent qualification and other documents including a certified copy of their identity document (ID), a certified copy of their form five or matric certificate, a certified copy of their graded tax (lipasi), a certified copy of their birth certificate and E.A number for example, 114200019.

Candidates have also been notified to be observant of the recruitment schedule.

According to the government website, the CSO is empowered by the Statistics Act of 1967 to collect and analyse statistics.

Its mission is to effectively coordinate the National Statistical System, provide high quality statistical data and information required for evidence-based policy, planning and decision-making for national socio-economic development, administration, accountability, and to promote a culture of using statistics.
