These were the words of Minister of Tinkhundla Administration and Development David Ngcamphalala when launching the Ministry’s Customer Service Charter yesterday.

According to a statement by the Government, the Charter outlines the ministry’s commitment towards providing excellent and efficient service to the Nation.

Speaking at the launch yesterday,
Minister Ngcamphalala emphasised the importance of the Charter’s launch.

“This day marks a very important milestone in the efforts of this ministry to inculcate a culture of service excellence which we have been implementing in the past five years. It is therefore my greatest pleasure to present and launch this document to the ministry officials who will then use it to implement and offer the required service to the public,” said the Minister.

“Launching this document is a way of reminding ourselves of our mandate, mission, vision, values and customer service pledge. This charter is our ministry’s declaration of the intention to take our country and its peoples towards Vision 2025 and beyond,” espoused the Minister.

Minister Ngcamphalala added that the charter compels the Ministry to ensure transparent, accountable and decentralised services. He noted that this was why the Ministry of Tinkhundla Administration and Development had seen the establishment of decentralised service centres which are currently located at Lobamba, Mhlambanyatsi, Lugongolweni, Mayiwane, and those that are still being established at Simunye, Matata, Siphofaneni, Gege and Hluthi.
