MBABANE– It’s D-day for the Eswatini National Team!
Today at exactly 3 pm, Sihlangu and Cape Verde will be battling it out on the field on their return match at the African Cup of Nations (AFCON 2023) qualifies match.
The match will be played at Mbombela Stadium in South Africa and will be broadcasted live on SuperSport, DStv.
This time around, Sihlangu Captain Lindo Mkhonta and youthful left back Kwakhe Tfwala are expected to be on this game, after being left out on last Friday’s game in Cape Verde. “The senior men’s national team head coach will miss the services of Captain Lindo Mkhonta due to the red card he got in the TotalEnergies AFCON qualifier match against Burkina Faso and Kwakhe Thwala who is nabbed by the yellow card rule after he received his second yellow card during the same match. Both players will be available for selection in the second leg against Cape Verde,” the Eswatini Football Association said in a statement last week.
