MBABANE – Get ready to dance and enjoy wine and cheese!
The first Wine and Cheese with Kings and Queens will be held on Saturday at Esibayeni Lodge,hosted by Eclipse.
The theme is Elegance and Masquerade, and it is expected to kick off at 6 p.m. When reached for comment, the Eclipse Head of Marketing, Temalangeni Dlamini, shared with this publication that everyone who will attend on the day are the kings and queens of the wine and cheese event.
She went on to share that there will also be performances by saxophonist Fakazi Samuel, Majaha the Poet, and a fashion show. The show will be hosted by Mdura the Comedian.
“The dance event was created because one of our directors of the company was a great ballroom dancer; he has the passion and wishes to see the sport bounce back and grow. We have partnered with Wanner Dance Studio and others. We want to revive the dance sport in the Kingdom of Eswatini and promote local artistic talents,” said Dlamini.
She went on to share that some of the activities of the event will include:
- Dance Sport Exhibition
- General public participation in dances
- Cheese and Wine Tasting Event
- Glitzy and glamorous evening ball wear
- Semi-live music performance
- Stand-up comed
Dlamini went on to add, “As the slogan says, “Lets Meet and Dance Eswatini 2024,” it explains that we wish to have it every year and be a success. The event will see legends performing, current dancers, and beginners doing the different moves, which are salsa, ballroom and Latin American, bachata, and kizomba. Everyone who loves good music, ballroom dancing, and networking. We look forward to meeting with classy dancers and beginners who will make the night memorable,” concluded Dlamini.
