MANZINI – A Good Friday indeed with the Godfather of House music!
A South African DJ, popularly known as the Godfather of House, record producer DJ Christos, born Christos Katsaitis, is scheduled to perform at The Hot Bar on March 29 (Good Friday). The show, dubbed Good Friday Music, was confirmed by Mpendulo Magongo from The Hot Bar.
The new establishment is located on 254 Muhlakuvane Street, Manzini, opposite Bandag Tyres.
The show will feature local artists, namely Sbu the Drum DJ, Brothers on Cue, Tibza, AyaCity, Itsallblaq, The Scientist, Macdeep, Karly B, Tharodadj, and Orthodox.
The show is scheduled to kick off at 6pm. The dress code is smart casual, and tickets will cost E50 for general, E100 for VIP, and VVIP E8000 (10 people, only 2 tables).
The establishment will officially launch the place on Saturday. South African DJ and record producer Dlala Thukzin of the hit song iPlan will be the headliner at the grand opening of The Hot Bar.
According to Magongo, The Hot Bar, it isn’t just any bar; it is one of the best nightclubs in town. With a vibrant bar area and a kitchenette serving up exquisite dishes, they are setting the standard for nightlife in the country. Soon, they will be adding Chinese cuisine to the menu, bringing even more flavour to the table. It is worth mention that the establishment is already operating but will be officially launched this Saturday.

Born Christos Katsaitis is a South African DJ and also among the most respected house producers, popularly referred to as the Godfather of House Music. He is the co-founder of Kalawa Lable and his own label, Katsaitis Music. Through these record labels, he has released some of South Africa’s most renowned artists, like Boom Shaka, Lebo Mathosa, Shana, Daw, and Black Coffee. His albums include Wicked Sounds Volume 1, Spiritual Journey, and many more.
