MBABANE– Kwaze kwamnandi kulomhlaba, Ngicela Nkosi ungangithathi ngisasemncane. The ‘Sgud snyc’ hit maker De Mthuda alongside Dj Stokie will be performing at the Solanis Lounge and Shisanyama on the 4th of August.
Recently De Mthuda made waves on different media platforms with his track Sgudi Snyc. On the track, he features the likes of Da Muziqal Chef & Eemoh. On the other hand, Dj Stokie is known for his Amapiano songs such as Superman released back in 2020.
According to a post on Facebook, the duo is set to perform alongside local artists like Mbo, Master P, Matamza, Tilungu, Supa CDQ, Locco, Sedkins and Sir Rhythmic. Tickets are available via computicket at E150 presale and E200 at the gate. They are available at some selected Shoprite stores including Mbabane Plaza, Bhunu Mall Manzini and the Gables Ezulwini to name a few.
Both artists specialize in the Amapiano music genre. They are originally from the Republic of South Africa with De Mthuda from Vosloorus and DJ Stokie from Soweto.
The duo has won multiple awards in the South African music industry. De Mthuda won an award in the South African Amapiano Awards for best Amapiano Music Producer in 2021. DJ Stokie got recognition in the 5th edition of the Mzansi Kwaito and House Music Awards in 2020. He bagged an award for Best DJ.
