MANZINI – Thukzin gave patrons a grand opening to remember!
South African DJ and record producer Dlala Thukzin delivered a great performance at the grand opening of Hot Bar on Saturday.
The new establishment is located on 254 Muhlakuvane Street, Manzini, opposite Bandag Tires. This was confirmed by Mpendulo Magongo from Hot Bar, who shared with this publication that the iPlan hitmaker arrived at the venue at around 11.30pm. “Dlala Thukzin took over the decks from 1am until 2am, and he delivered a great performance to the almost 75 percent capacity of the venue,” Magongo said.
Local supporting acts of the show were Othordox, Lady Zed, AyaCity, Black Pearl, Wicked, Wassabee, Maradona, Anthem (MC), Obsession, DJ Cup, Zulu D, and Fantacy. The show was hosted by Banele WJLM.
Dlala Thukzin, born Thuthuka Wandile Zindlovu 26 years ago and professionally known as Dlala Thukzin, is a South African DJ and record producer born and bred in Lamontville, KwaZulu Natal. He is renowned for his veracity in blending Amapiano,Afro-Tech, and Gqom. He got his break as a producer for prominent Gqom artist Babes Wodumo in 2016.
Hot Bar isn’t just any bar. It boasts a vibrant bar area and a kitchenette serving up exquisite dishes; they are setting the standard for nightlife in the country. Soon, they will be adding Chinese cuisine to the menu, bringing even more flavour to the table.
On Friday, the establishment will host the South African Godfather of House Music, DJ Christos.
