MBABANE-The Royal Eswatini Police Service has come out to warn emaSwati not to cross flooded rivers.
This comes after rivers flooded this morning after three days of heavy rainfall.
The police issued a list of rivers which have flooded and requested the public to be vigilant and find alternative routes.
The over-flooded rivers are the Mbuluzi River via Mbelebeleni/ Luve/ Florence route, Ingwemphisi River via Mankayane going towards Sicunusa, Ngwempisana via Gebeni, Masini behind Tri-Cash, Mndobandoba Big Bend, Mlambotjwala and Ntintinyane Rivers, Ntfonjeni and Emvembili, Mlumati River between Msahweni and Horo, Vuvulane and surrounding streams, Tshaneni to Maphiveni, Umgubudla River between Ngwane Park and Lwandle.
Parents and teachers were also asked to exercise caution and ensure that children are kept safe throughout this period. Below are pictures taken from some of the flooded areas:
