MBABANE – A new spot in town for new opportunities.
The Municipal Council of Manzini has provided a new place for people to sell their second-hand wares in the city – commonly known as dobha phansi.
The Municipality announced through their social media that vendors from around the country now have a new designated location where they can come and retail their products on Fridays and Saturdays. The new location is the Manzini Trade Hub.
The statement on social media clarifies that this is an opportunity which is available for all unemployed citizens, and that registration is E40 for each week a vendor wants to sell their wares in the two availelable days in a week. Interested members of the public can register at the Municipal Council offices every Tuesday at 8am.
“Members of the public are encouraged to visit the Trade Hub and support the traders,” concludes the statement.
This new development started this week, and the Municipal Council of Manzini will release more information in due time.
The Manzini Trade Hub is now the second place designated to dobha phansi vendors, after the original location at the Manzini Bus Rank.
