The World Hospice and Palliative Care Day is for celebrating and supporting hospice and palliative care all over the world, the theme for the year was ‘Compassionate Communities: Together for Palliative Care’.
The launch was done by Instacash Managing Director, Mandla Nxumalo, who stated that Instacash is another alternative for mobile money – the only difference was that they do not have their own Subscriber Identity Module card (SIM card).
“We use any SIM card that the client provides to register, MTN or eSwatini Mobile”, he said.
He further explained the steps one should follow to use the donation account to donate to Eswatini Hospice at Home. “The account was activated on Monday, to donate, press *365# go to pay bills and press 404045 and send the amount of your choice”, he explained.
Nxumalo disclosed that they would be tagging Eswatini Hospice at Home along to wherever they go, so that they can get the opportunity to present their tender in order to receive donations. He said this would also help to market Instacash.
