MBABANE – Gospel singer and songwriter Lungelo Matse is all geared up for his birthday celebration and album release all happening on the same day.
The Gospel musician will be celebrating his birthday on June 23, 2023, at Zakhele FEA Auditorium, where his album will also be released.
In his media platforms, he has been garnering crowds and support for his big day. This has seen a number of people show interest in the event and further mentioned looking forward to it.
“This is going to be a double celebration and we cannot wait for this day to worship and praise Matse,” said one Facebook user.
Lungelo Matse is a Gospel musician who has shared the stage with Sphiwo Ndoni, Fakazi Samuel, Bhelekazi, Jumbo as well as Nduduzo Matse to name a few.
He hails from Sokaya records and in 2020 he was nominated as the ‘Best Newcomer’ in Eswatini Gospel Music Awards.
During his birthday celebration and album release, musicians such as Edson Matavele, Takie Ndou, Phindi P, Ntokozo Ngongoma, Jabu Reginald Nkosi, Sbu Banda and a male group called The broken jars will perform at the show.
Matse has encouraged fans to support him during the event, mentioning that there would be plenty of entertainment for them.
“I am encouraging Gospel lovers and my supporters to be present at the show and support us with energy. Tickets are available at digital stores such as Moja Tickets. They can be accessed through phones where you save a certain number and send your details to it, where then replied step-by-step instructions are given until your purchase is verified. There will be other artists who will be supporting the event from Mozambique, South Africa and Eswatini. It is going to be a very collaborative event,” Matse said.
