DPM ARRIVES IN TAIWAN, RECEIVED BY FOREIGN AFFAIRS VICE MINISTER YUI

This is Eswatini Deputy Prime Minister Themba Nhlanganiso Masuku, who has landed safely in Taiwan after leaving the country over the past weekend.

The DPM and his delegation were welcomed Taiwan’s Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs, Alexander Tah-ray Yui, today.

A statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Taiwan read that they were excited to receive firm friends from Africa with who they shared 55 years of diplomatic relations.

“We wish our guests a pleasant and productive five-day stay,” said the above-mentioned Ministry.

According to the different verified media houses in Taiwan, Eswatini’s DPM is slated to meet with President Tsai Ing-wen and other senior officials to exchange views on bilateral cooperation projects, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) announced on Monday.

“Other than meeting Tsai and Foreign Minister Joseph Wu, Masuku’s delegation will also meet with Minister of Labour Affairs Hsu Ming-chun, MOFA said in a press release. The Eswatini delegation will also visit Taipei-based Tex-Ray Industrial Company, a major investor in the African kingdom, it added,” read the publications.

In the meantime, Neal Rijkenberg is the Acting Deputy Prime Minister.

This morning, we published that the country’s Minister of Finance, Neal Rijkenberg, has been placed as the Acting Deputy Prime Minister as of today.

Confirming this was Deputy Government Spokesperson Thabile Mdluli, who was notifying the press that His Excellency Prime Minister Cleopas Dlamini would be returning from Turkiye through KMIII Airport in the afternoon.

“On another note, please also note that the DPM is currently out of the country in Taiwan. The Acting DPM will be Minister Neal Rijkenberg (sic),” said Mdluli.
