MBABANE – Deputy Prime Minister, Thulisile Dladla met with members of the National Disability Advisory Council today, chaired by Dr Ngcebo Mbuli to converse about problems that affect disabled people in Eswatini.
During the meeting, they discussed a variety of issues related to persons with disabilities in Eswatini. These included the challenges faced by this community, as well as the need for more inclusion and representation. The Council members also shared their ideas and recommendations for addressing these issues.
The Council congratulated the DPM on her new role and expressed their commitment to supporting her work in protecting vulnerable populations in Eswatini. The Council members emphasised the importance of this work and expressed their confidence in the Deputy Prime Minister’s ability to make a positive impact in this area. They also pledged to work closely with her to ensure that their efforts are aligned and coordinated.
The DPM thanked the members of the Council and challenged them to increase their efforts to ensure that persons with disabilities are included and represented in all sectors of society. She emphasized the importance of promoting equal rights and opportunities for all, regardless of ability. The DPM also highlighted the government’s commitment to supporting the work of the Council and advancing its mission.
