MBABANE – ‘Via Orlando’ hit maker, Dr Malinga will be in the Kingdom of Eswatini for the Summer Picnic.
The event is slated for December 17, 2022 at the Zhumiao Lounge and Lifestyle in Piggs Peak, Etingadzeni, kaHhohho.
Zhumiao Entertainment Manager Thulasizwe Dlamini said Dr Malinga was the main act for the Summer Picnic.
“Dr Malinga just has an aura of summer. His colourful and fearless fashion sense, energetic and flamboyant dance move and hit songs have made him a force to be reckoned with,” said Dlamini.
Dlamini further mentioned that Dr Malinga was always in a happy mood on stage and that resonated with them because that is what they wanted emaSwati to feel at the picnic.
“We will also have Sliced Avo from South Africa as MC on the day as well as ‘Korobela’ hitmaker, John Cindi who will also take to the stage on the day.
Zhumiao is like a second home to South African artists as this year they have hosted the likes of DJ Tira, Qwabe Twins, Makhadzi and Master KG.
