local wine enthusiasts should brace themselves for an elegant and intimate affair in celebration of viticulture.
Viticulture, or winegrowing, is the cultivation and harvesting of grapes. In this comes the process of winemaking which is slowly surely finding its market in Eswatini. It is also important to know that the making of wine in South Africa (SA) and neighbouring countries has created a lot of jobs.
This is why, since opening its doors seven years ago, The Wine Boutique has made it its sole mandate to give their customers the best wine in the country and will be hosting a wine soirée on September 2, 2023, at the Olive Country Lodge.
The Wine boutique has become reputable for its exclusive signature wines. Their objective has always been and is still to source delicious, quality wines for their clients.
Founder and Director Lungile Motsa said the event will be hosted on the spacious countryside estate and aims to bring a variety of wines, including MCCs, PROSECCO, and Champagne, in a colourful event curated for guests to sip, savour, and explore a vast selection of wines.
“We have always had to cross the border for events and experiences such as these. We are delighted to be bringing this concept to Emaswati. Through the relationships we have established with our suppliers over the years, their response to this concept has been nothing short of amazing,” she said.
In addition to her previous interview sentiments, she mentioned that the boutique was born out of a passion for the hospitality industry, in which she worked for 17 years.
Wine enthusiasts will also be happy to know there is going to be a masterclass led by Xolani Mancotywa of Pinot Noir, a businessman committed to service excellence.
He is a qualified chef and a double-qualified sommelier. He is the owner of Thathu, an African Fusion Cuisine Restaurant, and a partner of Amari MCC.
He has a deep understanding of how food and wine work in harmony.
